Rasterize (Flatten)
Make non-removable.
Standard PDF Watermark: Fast, but advanced users can select/delete it via PDF editors.

If Rasterize is ON: The tool converts every page into a flat image. The watermark becomes 100% permanent and non-removable. Note: This takes longer, increases file size, and removes text searchability.

Image Support — You can now upload your company logo (.png or .jpg) to use as a transparent watermark alongside the standard text option.
True Security (Flatten) — If you toggle Rasterize, the PDF is rebuilt entirely from flattened images, ensuring no software can extract the text or delete the watermark.
100% Private — All text stamping and heavy image rasterization occurs strictly inside your browser. No files are ever sent to a server.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why are some text characters missing or showing as blocks?
Standard PDF files only bundle basic English fonts by default to keep files small. If you type in regional languages (like Tamil, Hindi) or use special symbols, you must switch the Font Type to "Custom Font" and upload a `.ttf` file that supports your language.
Can I use my own logo as a watermark?
Yes! Switch to the "Image Logo" option in the Content tab. You can upload any standard PNG or JPG file. If you use a PNG with a transparent background, the transparency will be preserved when stamped onto your PDF document. You can also adjust the image scale to fit your page perfectly.
What does the Rasterize (Flatten) option do?
Standard PDF watermarks are drawn as text layers. Advanced users with software like Adobe Acrobat Pro can sometimes select and delete these layers. The "Rasterize" option prevents this by rendering every page of your PDF into a flat, high-quality image (like a photograph), and then rebuilding the PDF. The watermark becomes permanently baked into the image.
Are there downsides to Rasterizing a PDF?
Yes. Because the document is converted into flat images, the text is no longer searchable or highlightable. Furthermore, processing takes slightly longer, and the final file size will generally be larger than the original document. Use this option only when absolute visual security is more important than text searchability.
Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
Never. All logic—including the heavy rasterization rendering—runs entirely inside your web browser. It reads the PDF locally, injects the new watermark, and triggers a local download. No bytes are sent to any server.
