Frequently Asked Questions
Is my image uploaded to any server?
Never. All resizing uses the HTML5 Canvas API entirely in your browser. Your image never leaves your device.
What does aspect ratio lock do?
When locked (🔒), changing the width automatically recalculates the height to preserve the original proportions. Unlock for free independent resize.
What is the difference between Contain, Cover and Stretch?
Contain fits the image fully inside the canvas with a letterbox border. Cover scales to fill the canvas and crops the excess from the center. Stretch forces exact dimensions ignoring aspect ratio.
Which social media presets are included?
Instagram (post/portrait/story/landscape), Twitter/X (post/profile/header), YouTube (thumbnail/channel art/icon), Facebook (post/cover/profile), LinkedIn (post/cover), Pinterest, WhatsApp, TikTok, Open Graph and Blogger.
Which output formats are supported?
You can download in PNG (lossless), JPEG or WebP. Adjust the quality slider (10–100%) for JPEG and WebP output.
Is there a maximum image size?
Output dimensions are capped at 8000 × 8000 px to prevent browser crashes. Input file size depends on your browser's memory, but typically handles images up to 30 MB without issues.
